It has a \"profound\" effect on the classroom. TPR is a must. Your speech must be clear. Without the use of visual aides students can be easily confused. Having materials streamlines the learning process and compliments any verbally presented idea or concept that would be too difficult otherwise. There must be positive reinforcement for all effort and inclusion of all students. The teachers attention must always be on the students no matter what part of the lesson it is. If it's the study part of the lesson the teacher should monitor and assess, so that students have the opportunity to ask questions, receive help, or receive correction before the study phase is over. Allow students to work together, it improves their confidence.
