Condition is always one of the most difficult grammar points for students to understand. Thus when we are teaching this, comparison is necessary to show the basic forms of 4 conditions and write down examples for each of them. Visual explanation is always helping students to summarize and digest. Besides that teacher needs to give students plenty of exercises to let them practice on that timely, to help students to use the grammar point into a real circumstances. And when talking about Reported Speech, it's kind of easy for students to understand but it needs time for them to really speak it out correctly. They need to transfer the difference and change the relevant time expressions as well. Encourage students to practice more and praise them when they do it right and fluently. Both of these two grammar points are easy to understand but hard to use them out. As a teacher, we need to prepare more interesting topic/exercises to give students enough practice opportunity.
