This unit is calles \"teaching and learning\". It´s describing different teacher and student roles. Also it´s talking about different teaching settings, like one on one or differnet class room settings and advantages and disadvantages in that context. The unit inform about the two receptive and the two productive skills of learning a foreign language. Further in the unit a teaching methods overview is given and the methodology (by Jeremy HArmer) is introduced with the three phases of: Engage, Stdy, Activate. An ESL lesson always hast to start with an Engage phase, to get the students thinking in English and an Activate phase, where they can get creative and use their language skills in a more realistic context of a conversation for example.
I have learned in this unit, that the main difference in a Business ENglish course is the level of contextualization. This means for me as a teacher, to include the working context the students are in, so they can get the most out of it.
