There are many different approaches one can take to teach. However, my takeaway from this unit is that the most important thing is to be as positive and encouraging as possible (some teachers and tutors can be insensitive to this) while injecting high energy into the room while having a stress-free environment at the same time. Students will absorb me and feel comfortable enough to take risks with the language if they feel safe, comfortable and free to speak their minds. Speaking of which, all lessons and phases of lessons should be as student-centered as possible. The Study phase seems to be the one that would at times be teacher-centered out of necessity as instruction and correction is required in this stage. This unit offers a lot of game suggestions - I'm not a big game person so probably won't remember many of them, but have taken notes and will be sure to refer to them for the sake of the class. I do wish, besides games, there had been more substantial lesson plan suggestions.
