Unit 15 covered the basics of testing and evaluations of students, for both giving tests and information pertaining to the sort of tests the students might be required to take if they plan on using English in a professional setting/ abroad. The Unit highlighted that students can evaluate teachers in order for the teacher to receive feed-back on what worked for lesson, and what did not. The purpose of the tests and evaluations was expanded upon; clarification on their different meanings and intentions. For example, the difference between a placement test and a diagnostic test. The ending few sections of the Unit that covered tests that students would be most likely to take for professional/ educational reasons was informative. I had no idea there were so many tests for the same qualification, and I am guessing that it is possible to find older versions of those tests to model my evaluations/ tests off of. As to get the students familiar with the format they use for the reading, writing, listening, and speaking portions.
