I learn today that you will eventually create your own teaching style and that it should be a good balance between lively and low-key. Teachers must be flexible and change their role according to the activity or situation without being dominant or leaving students uncertain. Classroom management is the skill of organizing and managing a class, having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. Firstly i learnt about eye-contact gesture and voice and how these should be used effectively within a classroom. Next i learn about grouping students and the different varieties a teacher may use to group students and the pros and cons associated with particular grouping methods.Classroom arrangement is a factor to consider when preparing for a lesson. I learn the do's and dont's of writing on the board and also the advantages and disadvantages of giving students individual attention vs group work and pairings. I learnt about the situation appropriate for teachers to talk and also some good ways and bad ways to discipline students.
