Unit 10 reflect the dramatic difference in teaching styles and results.
Video 1 involved a teacher without chatting to warm up the students, introducing grammar concepts by name of concept without explanation, clapping, no asking of name and gestures to give him responses in an unfriendly manner. The students are nonetheless attentive, though not smiling, but feel embarrassment. The teacher continues in his explanation undaunted by student lack of understanding. One student breaks the silence and teacher discourages with a negative and looks for better answers from other student giving no feedback to the sole answering student. The teacher continues to try to elicit answers without a smile and a reproachful disposition and badgers the students while discouraging motivation by saying the material is easy. The teacher cuts off the chance for discussion and turns away. If an explanation does not work, the teacher does not seek to use other language to help understanding. He paces, looks nervous and discourages silent with remarks like, \"Not Good.\
