Classroom Management is an essential part of allowing a large group of people engage in learning with as little disruption as possible. When students have a clear set of instructions as to what they are expected to do each lesson, they will have a better understanding of what is required of them. This will also help to engage their interest and give meaning to why they are in that class. It's important to always keep the people you are teaching in mind as activities are devised and for he instructor to stay flexible to change if something else might work better for a particular group of learners. Each student is a unique person and respect of that is necessary so that an instructor can make each person feel validated and engaged. It will also promote a rapport between teacher and pupil as well as a rapport between the learners themselves as they learn to engage others and be respectful of different ideas and cultures. I was happy to learn about various strategies to reduce problem behavior before it arises, as well as suggestions for how to handle it if it happens.
