From studying Unit 3 I have learn't how you would manage a classroom, different seating of a classroom and how these seating arrangements can be an advantage and how they can be a disadvantage as well as the different grouping systems you can use when teaching and when it is good to use these groupings. I also learn't that there are different factors that can contribute to why a student can misbehave and you should always try and deal with a behavioural problem right from the start and to never shout at the student, rather keep them after class and reprimand them in private. A good way to stop prevent bad behaviour, is to have good eye contact. Having good eye contact is the key to being a good teaching in my opinion as you can monitor many things in the classroom such as; student behaviour, letting a student know when to talk and when a student may need help. The manner in which you give an instruction is also very important. It usually helps to use simple language (even using language levels lower the the level being taught) as well as keeping them as short and simple as possible.
