Unit sixteen firstly covers ?conditionals?. It explains the five main conditional forms and usages and provides some ideas for teaching them. Secondly, the unit focuses on reported speech and directed speech. It explains the structure of reported speech and clarifies how verb tenses, pronouns and time expressions change while turning direct speech into reported speech. In addition some teaching ideas for reported speech lesson and some students? mistakes/errors are also provided.In this unit i learned about the importance of creating a lesson plan. Writing a lesson plan is an important procedure as it gives you a record of class content, consistency, and targets/goals for the class to achieve. The lesson plan should include learner objects, personal aim, language point, teaching aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase timing, and interaction. Being a good teacher requires you to be well organised. To be well organized you need a well prepared lesson plan.
