This unit was fun to complete because it is the first with visual aid. It gave a clear example/distinction of the difference between effective and positive teaching that produced a fun and thriving learning environment and noneffective teaching that produced a rather tense and dull class room. It was great and very helpful to see how a teacher's attitude and approach can greatly either encourage or discourage their students from participating and learning. I absolutely loved this unit.This unit is a guide to managing an effective classroom. Learning how to use eye contact, gestures and your voice to effectively maintain discipline, ensure students understands you and to reinforce interest and participation from every student. This learning unit learned me that managing a class from different viewpoints requires flexibility in your approach. ex. rearranging students in the class. I think that class management skills will improve over time as you gain more experience.
