This unit goes over the intricate present tense grammatical structures of the english language. Unlike many other languages English has four types of present tense structures. With present simple, a basic statement can be made with a subject and a verb in it's base form. To ask a question in this form simply add the auxiliary verb \"do\". If one would like to express a continuous action instead, they must use the aux verb \"to be\" instead of \"do\" and use a verb in the present participle form. Things get a little bit more complicated in present perfect and present perfect continuous forms. Aux verbs \"have\" and \"have been\" are used respectively, and these forms express finished and incomplete continuous actions. This has been the most difficult unit so far. However I have learned the importance of understanding why learners may make mistakes and how best to simplify and explain how we express different present actions. This may come naturally to me, but now I understand why we use verbs, auxiliary verbs and also perspectives as they pertain to subjects in the present tense the way we do
