This lesson explains how resource books and materials are the principal documents when teaching and learning English. Teachers can use authentic materials of their choice, create their own resource materials or resource books for teaching. When such materials are not properly utilized, teaching goals might not be effectively attained.Hence with appropriate tools for teaching and using the right lesson plan, teaching can be very successful.This unit is about teaching pronunciation and phonology in ESL lessons. It introduces to the different terms of intonation and stress within phonology, lists example and gives detailed examples for activities which can be used. I learned about their uses in syllables, in words and whole sentences. Besides I got to know the phonemic alphabet, the various kinds of articulation shown in diagrams and pronunciation can be taught in our lessons.
