One more grammar unit about the basic rules of the english language. This time there are the past tenses (simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous). It gives basic information on form, usage, common mistakes and what is more interesting for fresh teacher, on activate teaching ideas. I refreshed my knowledge about the past tenses, looked at the issue from the different angle and got new ideas which I will use in my future occupation.From this unit, I learned how important it is to teach to the class. Depending on who is in the class, the teacher must prepare a tailored lesson plan. In some classes, like in business English classes, there will be a wide range of age and motivation level. It is important for the teacher to figure out how to get through to each student, and to prepare lesson plans that will ultimately give students what they hope to get out of the class.
