Again, working with verb tenses in English is a very different experience for me. Since I am a native English speaker I use these forms without ever thinking about why or what type of action is happening that I am using a particular form of the past tense. I know that it is important for language learners to understand the grammatical rules involved in order to become more fluent, so I will be studying these types of verbs in more depth so as to be more informed when teaching my students.The terminology in English seems to be the most challenging part. This unit has plenty of terminology that native English language speakers have never dealt with before and yet they use it everyday without thinking about it. It is important for the teacher to know these terms. However, while the teacher may communicate an example of ?present simple question?, it is not necessary for the student to immediately know what to call it. Unless, they are pursuing a job as an English teacher.
