What a usefull and necessary unit! It consists of many different resources for teaching and studying. It might come in handy in the future teaching working as an additional material. Firstly, there is description of teaching equipments (such as white/black board, visual aids, IWB, OHP etc), so you can remember what you can use in the teaching process and it makes your lessons not predictable and not boring. Secondly, there are a lot of online resources which can help to create the lesson.This unit helped me to know what the methods of teaching English as a second language are, and especially helped me understand the ESA method. It highlighted what the main goals were for each part of the lesson and gave me examples of activities that can be used to reach those goals. And it also gave me warnings on what to avoid, such as giving more student involvement and discussion time than teacher talk time, and avoiding correcting too much (instead, encouragement can be more useful).
