Great unit with lots of valuable information. I learn that there are many resources to help English Language Teachers and I am to use as many as I can to help me build up my experience and tools. The unit was also very interesting as it listed out all the options for teaching aids. I think the most important thing I take from this unit is variety and that it is crucial to have a mix of exercises using different teaching aids in a lesson in order to keep the students focused and motivated.There are many different methodologies that are used when teaching language. With that being said, finding the right balance of them is the safest bet, but also being able to gauge what methods would work best for the particular student(s) you are working with. The best method is the ESA or the Engage, Study and Activate that is used by this program and which is it developed around. This unit gave amazing examples of lessons and where they could fit in with the sequencing mentioned above.
