I would think the way I structured the lesson plan would make the most sense by starting the class out with a general discussion on travel to stimulate the verb usage, followed by showing the present perfect tense structure, doing a gap-fill activity, drilling in the contracted form once they have had time to use the regular form, creating a survey to engage the new verbs, and concluding with students engaging with one another and teacher feedback on student's overall grasp of the concept.This unit was very informative to me and i now understand a lot of things. Some of the things in this unit we use them everyday but did not realize how and when some of the grammar is used. I now know the different types of verbs and some exceptions that i did not know. This unit has enhanced my knowledge in as far as grammar is concerned. I now know how and when to use certain words and at the same time be able to explain why. I now feel like grammar is important part of English teaching.
