Future tense is illustrated in detail in this unit. The different types include future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, going to, present simple with future meaning and present continuous with future meaning. For me, the teaching ideas/activities at the end of all the tenses are quite interesting. The main difference between 'be going to' and future continuous tense is a useful addition to my knowledge.In the is unit I learned about the different test that are out there, and what test to use when to gauge students and what level students should be placed at. Also what their ability is, what their motivation is and what the have learned, retained or forgotten. Also I learned about the different placement test that are out there from various English speaking countries and what they are used for, such as business or moving to a new country.
