Unit 9 This unit gave me information about lesson planning. There are many different ways of planning a lesson. There are no rules about how detailed your plan should be, but: keep it simple; don't script; keep it flexible; think about activities (give a smooth flow). You have to be prepared and organized: check the equipments, materials, arrange sitting places. 1.Outline learning objectives. The first step is to determine what you want students to learn and be able to do at the end of class. 2. Personal goals: what you as a teacher want to achieve. 3. Language Point. Present and future connections. 4. Teaching aids. Equipment and teaching materials. 5. Anticipated problems. Be able to find a solution. 6. Procedure 7. Phase: E-S-A 8. Timing. This helps you to know that you have planned a long enough lesson, and during the lesson itself will serve as a self-check to make sure you achieve what you want to achieve 9. Interaction. T-S, S-S 10. Class level : consider the level of English language 11. Number of students 12. Date/Time ( historical records) 13. Teacher's and observer's names
