Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

This unit explained the various types of groups that may be taught when teaching English to non-native English speakers. The groups that this unit identified include; beginners, individuals, young learners, business English, and multilingual vs. monolingual learners. Beginner learners consist of five categories; absolute beginners, false beginners, adult beginners, young beginners, and beginners without knowledge of the Roman alphabet. Individuals refer to one on one lessons between the teacher and the student. Young learners are students under 16-18 age range that usually lack self-motivation, but pick up on language faster. Business English is the teaching of English to clients from a company and the motivations are promotion or dismissal from job related. Multilingual learners are learners that live in an English speaking country and have various language backgrounds. Monolingual learners are students who are living in their native countries and only have one language background. In conclusion, I am now more aware of the different types of groups I may teach in the future and how to most effectively approach each group in a classroom setting.
