This is another great unit with a huge resource database that perfectly supplements the unit on books and materials. With the advent of high technology, teaching and learning nowadays are becoming much facilitated and more fun with the aid of multimedia tools such as smartboard and computer. Nevertheless, based on what I have experienced, the use of white board in conjunction with worksheets is still the most effective teaching method. Whiteboard is a great way to focus students' attention and their taking notes can also aid in the memory progress. Worksheets are perfect for study phase as they can provide important knowledge points from the lecture along with corresponding exercises for students to practice. Given the benefits of smartboard, I often use it for my powerpoint lecture presentation and as a visual aid to show pictures and videoes to stimulate interests and involvement. One more thought on the use of computers or laptops, per my observation, students may often misuse them if not guided in a right direction as they might be distracted from games or the Internet. It will be beneficial to minimise the use of computers to maintain classroom discipline and create a more attentive and productive studying environment.
