I learned about the different forms of future tense verbs. Future simple talks about actions performed in the future like: I'll see you soon. Future continuous actions talk about actions that take place in the future over a period of time. I'll be having lunch at 8 p.m. Future perfect tense is used when we want to talk about something already done in the future: I will have finished this book by Saturday.
Future perfect continuous is used when we need to talk about something that will have continued by a certain time. We may use an adverbial expression. (by next week/by this time tomorrow) By next week I will have been studying for almost two weeks for this test. Be going + the infinitive is used to talk about the future intentions, predictions that have evidence, or plans that are already in place. I am going to sleep in the afternoon.
This tense along with the present continuous are the most frequently used future tense forms.
Present continuous tense is used for definite arrangements : I'm attending an interview today. Or decisions/plans without a time reference.
Present simple is used to talk about actions that will happen in the future: I\"ll always be your friend (promise) I'll be 37 in January (fact) It will rain soon : predictions
