From this unit, I learned that effective communication skills of English language are necessary for the people of all professions. The concept of English verb tenses is very important in establishing effective communication. Hence, if you want to maintain both ways of communication better, that is, speaking and writing. You need to gain mastery over English tenses, because a command of twelve basic tenses of English. In this module, I learned that Present tense consists of different parts and usage. from Affirmative, negative to questions. It is necessary to know how every tenses are used. The tenses simply show the time of an action or state of being as shown by a verb. The tenses we use to show what time we are talking about are split into the Simple, Continuous and Perfect tenses.The simple tenses are used to show permanent characteristics of people and events or what happens regularly, habitually or in a single completed action. The continuous tenses are used when talking about a particular point in time.
While the perfect tenses are used when an action or situation in the present is linked to a moment in the past. It is often used to show things that have happened up to now but aren't finished yet or to emphasize that something happened but is not true anymore. Perfect tenses are never used when we say when something happened but can be used when discussing the duration of a subject.
