When I was teaching in Korea, I wasn?t experienced in providing lessons so I wasn?t open
minded to all my students. I always had to hide myself?In fact, I was too eager to hide
myself. So, I really liked someone who can be funny and humble and lower themselves, who
even became my mentor at the end. I always wanted to become like them. But it is not good
when I look back in fact. Because that personality can?t last long. Because men can?t always
be good. And my all mentor become disappeared when I was in trouble and didn?t know
what to do and even didn?t know the way to get by.
Anyway, my philosophy of education was all about being fun and even I didn?t think I have to
be a smart and right person. So ruined my teaching practice too. And I didn?t know the
reason.
And in the lesson for Unit 1, I learned the other types of teacher?s duty. The duty of my
teaching was not only to be an entertainer but also manager, organizer, assessor and
observer etc.
I was shocked and I realized that fun was not that important. I regretted that I wanted to be
only funny. I wanted to be a manager or controller among all roles, in particular, I want to be
the charismatic teacher.
But I suppose that it would be somewhat arduous. Because I taught for some times. and I
already have some patterns of my teaching. So I have to look back my teaching skills once
again and I have to find the best way on my own.
