It was very useful in watching the two videos. In particular the first video. The video showed from the start that the teacher was boring and confusing. It was useful for me to watch and observe because I want to make sure that I come into a classroom with an enthusiasm attitude. I want my students to be comfortable with me and my appearance. In the first video, the instructor was talking unenthusiastically and the students was totally lost. At certain times, he seems that he did not know what he was doing. The students were basically turned off and tuned out of the lesson being presented. I felt confused just listening to the teacher. I wanted to interrupt him and say that he is making the students uncomfortable and boring; and I would have walked out. Nevertheless, I appreciated the video because it provided me with a few details of not to do in a classroom. The second video, on the other hand, was more pleasant to watch. The teacher was interesting from the start. He began by asking the name of each student. I think that is very important to connect with your students from the start. He then began the lesson which I felt it was easily to understand. You can see that the students were interested from the start; and paying attention. What I like the best is that the teacher connected with his students from the start and was very clear in explaining the lesson. The video certainly provided me with many ideas to bring in a classroom.
