I have most importantly gained the knowledge of how to manage a class and make an effective lesson plan. Prior to taking this course, I didn?t realize the importance of a lesson plan. Once I was able to make a few of them, I realized how useful they will be in the classroom and how much easier it will make things on me. I plan to use these a lot when I am in the classroom. I have also learned how to deal with the difficulties of students and how to identify their different levels. This will be put into use when I get into a classroom by using needs analyses and various tests/quizzes. Possibly the most useful knowledge I have gained is all the information on the english language. Being a native english speaker, I thought I knew it all but I learned the details and important aspects that learners need to know. I will put all of these skills to use in the classroom and most likely refer back to my units as I begin my new job overseas.
