In this unit the focus was on being able to speak of things that will happen in the future. When studying this unit versus past tense I felt that future tense would be easier to grasp and teach overall. I feel that in this chapter I was able to learn more teaching methods and examples. I really liked the class activities that were listed such as writing what you will do on vacation. In my opinion, do these types of activities will help students to understand the grammar concepts better.This unit offered a wide variety of topics. The lesson began with describing the role of the teacher and the students. The teacher of the class can play a variety of roles in the classroom, the role they play will usually depend on the needs of the students. The unit talked about the pros and cons of teaching one on one classes versus group classes. The unit covered listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and finally the unit covered the stages of ESA when developing a lesson plan.
