I have a sincere respect and for and interest in language, people worldwide and the teaching/ learning process. The educational process, which includes the outcome, is at once a worthy and rewarding art and science. Teaching English to other primary language speakers gives them a better chance to move up in the English speaking world. Lastly, I volunteered in the ESL Program (ALP) as a "speaking partner" at my university (California State University East Bay). I enjoyed hearing the results of and gratitude for work.
