This unit was another grammar focused lesson that dealt with the past tense. It covered the past tense versions of the same sort of things we saw in the present tense lesson. For me, the most useful information was on the irregular verbs in each form (many of which we don't think about as a native speaker until we hear and realize that it is incorrect) and the common mistakes that students make with these. This information will help me to be ready to properly handle teaching this information and handle problem areas Before they may even arise. This will make it easier for students to feel like they have progressed in their English studies as it is much easier to learn things the right way the first time rather than try to overcome a bad habit from learning it incorrectly to start.
