Unit 7 While teaching English there are four things that students must do with a new language. These include be exposed to it, understand it meaning, understand how it’s constructed and be able to reproduce it. Unit 7 focuses on Teaching vocabulary, introducing grammatical structures, and teaching language functions. As a teacher I find it very difficult to introduce grammatical structures as students find grammar to be very difficult, and can become reluctant to study. In this lesson I have learned to try the Engage method by creating a scenario, asking questions, or using picture that the student already identify with to teach the new topic.
