This unit focuses upon teaching equipment and teaching aids. This unit goes into detail about how to use interactive whiteboards, overhead projectors, visual aids, worksheets and work cards, cassette recorders, CD players, videos and DVDs, video cameras, dictionaries, course books, resource books, photocopiers, and computers. The section about online sources is really helpful. The online sources section gives some great information for online learning, literature and poetry, and the media.This lesson was very helpful because it broke down many aspects of speaking an writing that is helpful for teachers. I especially found it helpful to understand the different games that can be used to teach these skills. These are skills that we use intuitively, but are helpful to know because the students' native language may be completely different. The students may be very confused because the English language is complex, so understand the nuances of the English language is very helpful.
