This unit was more a grammatical unit, where it talked about modals, phrasal verbs, passive and active voice. It started with a table showing the modal auxiliary verbs, where it dated the uses, and examples. The unit defined passive and active, in which they differ each other by one having an agent (active) and the other one having no agent (passive). And lastly, the unit covered the relative clause and phrasal verbs. Like the other units it showed some teaching ideas for the grammatical uses.Lesson planning is very important to teaching. It however cannot be too rigid or inflexible. Lesson plans should be balanced in how rigid and flexible they are. They function as an aid to planning, a working document as well as a record for the teacher. There are several components to a good plan. These include learner objectives, teaching aids, anticipated problems, ESA phase, class level, among others. Monitoring the class is also important as it highlights weaknesses in teaching or lessons.
