In Unit 6 we continue to the study past tenses, both structure and usage. We also look at activities within the classroom which can be utilised surrounding this topic.
I learnt that there are even a couple of common mistakes made with use of tense, which has made me want to ensure I double check my own grammar at times.
I am beginning to naturally differentiate between the past perfect continuous especially, away from the other forms of past tense. Which I struggled with in previous units.In this unit, it is important for a teacher to always conduct a lesson in a creative manner. Using a course can be very helpful however this will only lead for the teacher to be more reliant on the book rather than coming up with a spontaneous idea on how she can deliver the lesson effective without misleading the students. Also, use of visual aids, flash cards and other activities will make the class to be more engaging and will encourage students to participate and be involve in the lessons.
