I learned about the receptive skills; reading and listening. There are two reasons and motives for readking and listening. One is for a hand the other is for entertainment. Learners can employ plenty of specialist skills when reading or listening. Predictive skills, scanning, skimming, detailed information and deduction from context are those 5 skills. To approach language difficulty, teachers can consider pre-teaching vocabulary, careful selection of texts,topics, creating interest and tasks.From this unit,I leart many teaching methods.Such as:1.presentation,practice,production.2.task-based learning.3.grammar translation.4.communicative laguage teaching.In addition,I learnt many activities,such as:1.partner information share2.alphabet relay.3.memory games4.word linking.5.information search.6.the box game.7.I spy8.sentence prompts.Of course ,I also learn some correction techniques and what should the teacher correct.I hope I can use all this professional theory in my future lesson.
