Although some of the tips might be helpful in teaching, like using visuals, peer dictation etc., and also the intonation explanations have been quite useful (like when the speaker wants the other person to respond or not), in general I find this unit extremely technical and going into detail that I will probably never use in my teaching work, all the categories that are difficult to keep in mind, especially plosive, fricative and other sounds.The Unit gives an overall idea about the structure of English certificates, both for teachers and learners. Also it gives more details on the BE course: the main idea is that the teacher must not be a professional in the business area in order to give good classes. Sufficient level of English and clear understanding of students' needs are the main tools for proper teaching (with, of course, the knowledge of some basics in business vocabulary).
