During this unit I have learned what makes a good teacher and how to maintain those qualities. The roles a teacher should have and that they are used at different times and parts of the lessons. What makes a good learner and that with those qualities a student is more likely to succeed in learning the language. That there are several differences between young and adult learners and that a teacher needs to understand these so that the lessons and the students can maximize their learning. I learned what the different stages of mastering the language are and how I as the teacher can work with students on each level and what reasons they might have for wanting to learn English.,
