This unit covered the basics on how to teach pronunciation and phonology. I learned that teaching pronunciation and phonology will be one of the most challenging things to teach, when I become a teacher. It is very evident that both topics require an extensive amount of dedication, on my part, to study and perfect Before I am able to feel comfortable teaching the subject matter. Pronunciation and phonology prove to be extremely important topics for students, though the material will be very challenging. It would seem as if phonology and pronunciation should not be taught to anyone other than advanced speakers, though throughout the time I spent studying the material, I now believe that these topics would also be very important to teach semi-beginners.
