Course materials are very important for both, the teacher and the student. As a teacher, we must know the book cover to cover, or at least know the subjects we talk about in order to be able to improvise correctly and not make any mistakes which may confuse our students. At the moment, I'm using New english File foe UK English, which is a book I like since it has a Student's Book, a Workbook, a Teacher's Guide, and a CD. I tend to use movies (children's for my younger students, ie: Harry Potter 1) later in the course in English with English subtitles.
