Phonology is the study and classification of phonemes. These sounds are represented within the IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet) I found great interest in the phonology class demonstration video I have found this unit about teaching pronuntiation and phonology extremely interesting, but also particularly dificult to teach to future students. I see pronuntiation and phonology now as an integral part of the course. Intonation, stress,phonetic alphabet and articulation are all part of the teachings to be passed on to the students.
