In this section we learned the importance of productive skills or skills that are produced by the student and the lesson goes over different techniques for teaching these skills. There is great influence placed on the different between accuracy and fluency and when each of these things needs to be emphasized in a class. Both are equally important but when it comes to writing accuracy matters more whereas in speaking fluency matters more. I will keep in mind the difference between these two things and plan my lessons around emphasizing one or the other depending on which phase of the ESA I am currently in.
