Unit Fifteen reviews the different testing teachers may come across in their careers and how to utilize them best. One of the exams that would be best used by a teacher would be a placement test. By having the students take this exam at the beginning of the year, it helps the teacher know what to plan for the semester. If benefits the students in that the lessons will be based on their level of knowledge. I learned about the external exams from this chapter. I didn't realize the amount of testing students have to go through in order to get certain jobs or go to foreign universities. Knowing what is on external exams helps the teacher know what would be best to teach the students.
