In this unit the parts of speech were presented in details. We got to know about the most commonly needed areas of using them, and now can recognize and classify them in the sentences. Each word in the sentence adds its own meaning and can be categorized. We learned about the main types of nouns, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions which are considered to be the most problematic part of speech for learning, and requires practicing. Now we know how to explain their usage to students, how to identify them.This ninth unit gets into what I think is among the most important tasks of a teacher, and that is lesson planning. It reviews the benefits of making a lesson plan (an aid to planning, a working document and a record or what a class has done) but also how to make a good lesson plan, how it should be written and what does it include. We also learn about an important aspect of lesson planning which the monitoring of the quality of our own lessons to make sure that we always improve our teaching skills.
