This unit covers reasons why we plan, how we plan, what should be included in the plan as well as covering an actual lesson plan. Clear focus, presents much more straight forward and well-structured lessons to my students. In the past, I?ve tried a number of different methods of lesson planning. However, this method I believe offers more benefits to both the teacher and the students not only in terms of context and delivery, but also it would create a database of reference material in the long run.This unit discussed ways to teach productive skills (speaking and writing). During a speaking class, it is important to utilise accuracy activities and fluency activities during each stage of the lesson in order for students to improve their verbal usage of the language. During a writing class, it is important to consider handwriting, spelling, layout and punctuation. Finally, this chapter also suggests games that can be played during class in order to create a more stimulating classroom environment.
