In this unit, I learned about the future tense. I learned that it consists of the future simple, the future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going future, present simple and present continuous.I learned that each form of future tense has specific functions, e.g stating facts, predictions. I learned teaching plans to teach these forms to the students. For example, the future simple can be taught with fortune telling. I also learned how the future tense is formed in each instance.From this unit I have learned that it is important to properly structure my lessons and I have also learned that not all lessons need to structured the same way.
Depending on the level of my students and the material being taught I can use a straight arrow plan, a boomerang plan, or a patchwork plan. Which I choose will be decided mostly by the needs of my students.
Also very imports is how the teacher builds and maintains a good relationship with students which will make all lessons better and easier.
