This test was pretty hard because I wasn't certain of the order for the study tasks. I knew that they were study and in which order I think they should go, but I second guessed myself often. I couldn't find this information in the reading material. I examined the material thoroughly, including the sample lesson plan, but was at a loss as to if brief conversations should precede simple study tasks such as gap-fills and what have you. It seems to precede them, but I guess I'll find out when I submit this test.This unit evaluates the pros and cons of course books and supplementary material in the classroom. I learnt the importance of discerning when to use authentic material versus created material for different level students, as well as got good ideas for supplementary material. It would be great if this unit addressed the challenge of finding time to use more interesting supplementary material, while still completing the course objectives as presented in the course book, from which the students will be tested.
