While I was watching the first video I got so angry and uncomfortable with the way the teacher presents the class and himself. I was embarrassed for him and felt so sorry for the learners. In a previous unit it was said that some teachers don't feel the need to prepare a lesson. The first video is an example of exactly why we should prepare. Your preparation makes you more comfortable with the work and you are able to answer questions the student may have correctly. A teacher can make or break a student.This unit is about teaching equipment and how they should be used as teaching aids.There are a variety of them including,the board that can be a traditional chalk board or a white board, interactive white boards,overhead projectors,visual aids,worksheets and work cards,the cassette recorder, CD player,videos and DVDs,video cameras,dictionaries,course books,resource books,photocopiers and computers.
The important thing is the teacher should think ahead using the equipment and know how to operate them properly.
