Unit 8 covers the future tenses, including the four forms seen in past and present(simple, perfect, continuous, and perfect continuous), as well as 'going to', and present tense forms given future meaning. The usage descriptions are clear and helpful in distinguishing the purposes and capacities of each future tense. The tenses that have functions and/or forms that are often confused are well established and delineated. Many of the teaching suggestions are similar, revolving around schedules/diaries or predictions.This unit explains how important receptive skills are in the classroom. Not just reading but also listening to information. By reading a word and hearing it will connect the words and help a student recognize these words more effectively. The unit also helped with topics choice and to make sure your students are interested in your class by choosing a topic they like by getting to know them. Tasks should also be achievable by the students. It gave clear examples of what activities to use to help in your lesson plan.
