I have learn that the structure of pass and present tenses are not too different. Except that past tense is related to pass time period. Irregular verb is one simple verb which has two forms according to person which is the verb ?to be? which forms ?was? ( used with I, he, she and it) and ?were? (used with you, we, and they) for all other verbs the forms stays same for all persons. The pass continues almost always requires some form of time reference .for example I was playing badminton yesterday.This lesson was laid out to be a good review of the ESA teaching pattern. Through preparing for this test we can see that the E S A stage are similar regardless to what exactly is being taught. It is also good to see which functions are NOT appropriate to teach in each stage. This applies to what information is not necessary to explain to students when introducing new vocabulary and grammar. I will remember to teach in the way that is most effective for the student, not worrying about what I personally want to teach.
