I have learned that if given the opportunity a teacher can have a wonderful opportunity to find a great textbook that is appropriate for her/his students. However is not always the case, and so the teacher needs to make the best of what they have. There were some points mentioned in the textbook that I never took into consideration, which I will now have to. The main point I gained from this unit is to not depend on a textbook, but a variety of materials to teach one's students.
